The European Forum Alpbach (EFA 2026) is a prestigious annual international conference and interdisciplinary platform that brings together leaders, thinkers, and innovators to discuss key socio-political issues and the future of Europe. The event has traditionally been held since 1945 in the picturesque Alpine village of Alpbach (Tyrol, Austria).
The main goal of the forum is to bring together experienced politicians, scholars, businesspeople, and cultural figures with the younger generation to jointly seek solutions to global problems.
The main theme for 2026 is «How Europe Wins.» The focus is on Europe’s strategies, partnerships, and strengths amidst a changing global landscape. Participants: Over 4,000 attendees from more than 70 countries, including approximately 350 young scholarship recipients (students and early-career professionals).
